Windows Live Writer

Really, the whole point of this post is to test out Windows Live Writer and see if I like using it. ^_^;

It’s a WYSIWYG editor that works with windows live spaces, as well as a lot of other weblogs. (Including WordPress, of course.)

Overall, it really just makes writing your blog a lot easier, and more fun. Or, at least that’s the idea. So far it seems pretty cool.

After re-installing windows (ah, the story of my life.) I went searching for ways to make my squeaky clean comp, even squeaky-cleaner. I didn’t find a whole lot, but my search unleashed a plethora of sights that caught my interest. So, here goes:

Mashable! – The Social Networking Blog
Great for all you weird people who like to use the internet for socializing. It’s an all-in-one, information center for the socially inclined. News, Tips, Tricks, and links to just about any brand of socializing you can think up.

MakeUseOf.com
Excellent, Excellent sight that has list, after list, after list of tool, tips, services, and applications for almost anything.

Veoh
Just a really awesome video networking sight. Download the Veoh client and add the browser tool bar, and you can download videos from just about anywhere.

Curse
For all you nerdy little ORPGers out there. Curse gaming has all the greatest and latest for you guys, from news to Downloads. I use it for all the awesome World of Warcraft addons. Download the Client, and it’ll even install the add-ons for you.

Listen To A Movie
For those of us who operate in environments where we can’t just sit there and watch movies all day. Listen to the movie. Not a bad idea really. It’s probably more enjoyable if you’ve already seen the movie, because then you could picture it. Either way, it’s free entertainment.

Wordie
Make a lists of words. Any words. Words you hate. Words you love. Or just words that you find interesting. See who else has listed the same words and view comments. A neat little toy that expands your vocabulary. If you’re me, that’s awesome!

Speed Painting

For those of you unfamiliar with speed painting; it basically consists of recording oneself while drawing (usually in Photoshop) then creating a time-lapsed video of it with music. Though, this is a loose definition, as there hasn’t been a clear line drawn as to what does and doesn’t qualify as a speed painting. (See Comments.)

Regardless, in the case of these, the end result is pretty incredible.
